It was announced on 18 July that Shige has tested positive for COVID-19. He took a PCR test as he had a fever of 37.0 degree Celsius and a cough, and the test turned out positive. Shige will be resting and observing the situation over a fixed period of time (TL note: likely 10 days following the current guidelines in Japan).

The statement from J&A said that they decided to first report the situation, and will continue to take the necessary procedures to identify those who have been in close contact.
